God’s Glory Reconciles: What is your ‘Win’?

READY:

“…through Him to reconcile everything to Himself…”

— Colossians 1:20

SET:
Everyone loves to win.
But have you ever stopped to ask: What does a ‘win’ really mean to me?

For some, a win is standing on a podium, holding a medal, or breaking a personal best.
For others, it could mean stepping back onto the field after an injury, trying something new, or simply showing up.
Winning looks different to each of us—because what we define as success reveals what we truly value.

But here’s the deeper question:
What does a ‘win’ look like in God’s Kingdom?
And what is your ‘win’ for the assignments God has given you today?

Recently, I had the privilege of sharing the gospel with three different individuals—from three different generations, in three completely different settings.
And in each one of those conversations, the same miracle happened: they came to know the Lord.

Three salvations.
Three reconciled hearts.
That’s a Kingdom WIN.

·       One was a young man I met through a sports ministry connection.

·       Another was the father-in-law of a friend who joins our weekly fathers’ prayer group.

·       The third was a shop owner I encountered while buying coffee beans.

Different stories. One shared hope. One victorious outcome.

In moments like these, I’m reminded that no encounter is random.
Christ in me is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27), and I carry that hope wherever I go.
My role in God’s story is to reveal His glory to those who haven’t yet experienced it—so that reconciliation can happen.
So that what was separated can be restored.
So that people can come home to the Father.

God’s ultimate ‘win’ isn’t just a personal achievement—it’s a transfer of spiritual ownership, a change in status.
From alienation to adoption.
From darkness to light.
From slavery to freedom.
From lost to found.
In Christ, we become sons and daughters of God!

Jesus said it plainly:

“The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost”

Luke 19:10

And now, we get to partner with Him in this redemption story, to redeem all that belongs to Jesus.

As I receive God’s glory, my heart burns to see others transformed by His redeeming grace.
That starts with my family.
That is my first and greatest win.
Win at home. Then win the world for Jesus.

GO:
– What does a ‘win’ look like for you in your current season or situation?
– Are your definitions of success aligned with God’s vision of reconciliation?
– Who around you needs to be reconciled to the Father? How can you be part of that process?
– How can you live out the ministry of reconciliation God has given to every believer? (2 Corinthians 5:18)
– In what ways can you bring the hope of glory into your daily, ordinary encounters?
