Verse Of The Week : 9 May 2022

May 9, 2022

Isaiah 55:11“so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”

Have you ever regretted immediately after some words that was uttered from your own mouth?
The truth is that ‘damage’ is done.
Like it or not, we cannot retract the words back after it has been spoken and heard.
No wonder the bible teaches us to watch what we say, to be slow to speak and to guard our tongue.
Jesus also mentioned that every careless word we say will be accounted for on judgment day.
So then, let us make every effort to let the word of God fill our minds and lives daily instead.
This is the living water, the bread of life, the daily spiritual food that we need to renew our minds and strengthen our soul and spirit.

Every word from God matters and it brings alignment and transformation in our lives when we actively obey and act upon it.
Similarly, use the word of God to pray, to lead your family, to parent your child, to build your businesses.
There is power in His word and when it is spoken and used, it breathes life, demolishes strongholds, sets captives free and accomplishes the kingdom assignments that God purposes.
Whether its onsite or online, take heed and be wise with our words.
Be intentional in receiving and releasing what is good and godly.
