Matthew 7:21
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Does God really know you?
Are you living in obedience to His word, His ways and doing His will?
The bible speaks a lot about the characteristics and demands of a true disciple.
And if there are true disciples, then there will be fake ones.
If the true worshippers worship in spirit and truth, then the fake ones will worship idols and in deception.
Very clearly, it is always about the heart which God is looking at, not how busy we are at doing religion and neglecting the relationship building segment of the equation.
Do not just walk the walk and talk the talk.
We need to be people who walk the talk and practice what we preach.
A true disciple does not simply put on a facade and parade through life with an outward appearance that builds and secures reputation with man.
A true disciple will carry and cross and follow Jesus through thick and thin, good times and bad times, joy and sufferings.
A true disciple will do the will of the Father who is in heaven.
