2 Timothy 3:5
“…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”
Do you think you are a Godly person? What does it entails? Is it possible to have just a form of godliness?
Well, God doesn’t look at our outward appearances or take pleasure in a life that is simply religiously dutiful in nature.
God desires to see our inner life changed, heart transformation.
Jesus did not die on the cross so that we can have a religion.
Jesus died on the cross so that we have the opportunity to reconcile back with God, to have an intimate relationship with Him.
Our responsibility is to steward this life carefully and watchfully.
It is about denying ourselves daily instead of denying the power that comes from Christ.
Our conduct must never nullify our faith.
We need to be people of the truth, a true worshipper who walk the talk and talk the walk.
