Luke 2:10-11
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Fear not. Good news. Great joy!
These are three phrases that are all connected to the coming of the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
Jesus came into the world for the purpose of saving people from their sins.
The Creator became the Creation to bring the creation back to the Creator.
In a world filled with fear, bad news, and great sorrow, may we remember the good news that leads to great joy.
Every day is a day to rejoice in the gospel.
Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave.
The Savior has come!
