Ephesians 5:15-16
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
God’s heart for us is always to be wise in our ways, understanding and obeying His word, ways and will.
How do we walk circumspectly?
It means that we need to be carefully aware of all the different circumstances and seasons of our lives, being prudent and discerning, considering all that is pertinent and pleasing to God.
God disapproves & despises foolishness in our lives, even more when we are His children who are readily assessable to all His precepts and promises.
The Psalmist clearly pointed out that the foolish will be corrupted, declaring that there is no God, committing abominable deeds.
Time is short.
The brevity of life urges us to make the most out of every opportunity to live for Jesus.
Jesus did not just redeem our lives but also the time that we have here on earth.
The days are becoming increasingly dire, dystopian and evil. Let’s be vigilant and prayerful, filled with the Holy Spirit and live each day as if it was the last, purposefully.
