Verse Of The Week : 22 Aug 2022

August 22, 2022

“…Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds- All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink!”

John 7:37 TPT

The thirst in our body is permanently ongoing because of how God has design our biological structure.
Just like any plants and animals, humans need water to not just survive, but to enable to whole body to function effectively and efficiently.

Jesus was trying to use the need for water to bring a revelation of who He is and what He represented.
Jesus is the source, the fountain of Living water that never runs dry.
Humanity’s true thirst can only be replenished and filled by coming to this fountain daily and consistently.

Our spiritually thirst works differently from our physical one.
It may not have immediate consequential effects to the body but it will lead to a progressively expected spiritual death.
