Matthew 6:19-21
“Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value. Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value. For your heart will always pursue what you esteem as your treasure.”
A kingdom mindset will shift our attention to eternal treasures, ones that is found in heaven.
Things in this world are temporal and will pass away.
Worldly possessions, prestiges, power and pleasures will eventually become worthless and non-existence and it will count for nothing in the Kingdom of God.
Any wealth that is earthly is only meant for earthly use and earthly gratifications.
What are your treasures today?
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be and there your passions, devotions and attention will be directed to as well.
