Verse Of The Week : 14 Mar 2022

Philippians 1:21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

The question that we all need to ask ourselves daily is whether the manner of our lives is worthy of the gospel of Christ.
We can live for many things in life, for many causes or be driven by many purposes.
We can have many aspirations, dreams and desires too.
These are not necessarily wrong but if Christ is not the bedrock and cornerstone of all that we’re building, we will build in vain.

We need to decide in our hearts right now, who are we living for.
As a living sacrifice for Christ, to remain in our flesh for the time allocated to us here on earth, we need to be convinced that Christ is all we are living for.
If we cannot be fully committed and driven by Christ and His Kingdom purposes when we are still alive, how then can we expect ourselves to die for His sake?
As Apostle Paul shares his heart that his desire is to depart and be with Christ, which is the best place to be and most valuable gain, we too, need to embrace that and treasure our time here on earth and make every day count for Christ.
