Go Show To Reveal Jesus: What’s your Testimony

Picture this: It’s a brisk morning as you lace up your favorite running shoes to warm up and do a track workout.
With your fully charged watch, you look down, take a deep breath, and click the start button on your watch.
As you begin to feel your feet hit the ground each step, you jolt with a strength that was surprisingly more than you expected this morning.
Maybe a good night’s sleep?
Maybe the delicious dinner you had the night before.
You warmup and then do your track workout and set new records for your half mile splits and one mile.
You come back to the house with evidence, both physically (perhaps including smell!) of what happened and proof on the watch.
You take a picture of your results and share them with your friend, a family member, and even your coach to celebrate the victory.
You reveal what happened on the track and celebrate the moment with others.
Even more, God has given us unique stories and experiences with Him that can be shared with others to bring joy, victory, and encouragement to others and also yourself.
This story, called a testimony, is ultimately the story of a changed life.
It can be a moment where you saw God show up, a victory that came through God’s grace, diligent spiritual training and through the Holy Spirit’s power, and even how He answered a specific prayer in your life.
Your story can impact and influence others for His glory.
When you keep track of His faithfulness, His provision, His love, His mercy, His compassion, His kindness, you have an incredible training log to share with others.
His track record is perfect.
Jesus loves you so much that He died on the cross for your sins and rose from the grave victoriously.
People testified of this happening as proof for you to believe and receive the gift of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus alone to be your Savior.
The finished work of the cross is what enables us to receive His power, His presence, and His provision in each season and storm.
You have a story.
Every day is another page in this unique, hand-crafted story with God as the author.
As you go on runs, perhaps God is opening the door for you to share part of your testimony to someone with you of what Jesus has done for you and who He is to you.
The world is in such deep need for people who truly know Jesus.
Seek Him with all your heart to truly know Him and for Him to know you.
Then go show what kind of a Savior and God you have!
