Verse of the Week:1 Thessalonians 4:1Let me add this, dear brothers: You already know how to please God in your daily living, for you know the commands we gave you from the Lord Jesus himself. Now we beg you—yes, we demand of you in the name of the Lord Jesus—that you live more and more closely to that ideal. One of the vital driving force that forms the bedrock of why we do what we do as a believer is a desire to please the Lord in all we think and act upon. The righteous shall live by faith…Click below to continue reading.kingdomrunners.net/verse-of-the-week-28-nov-2022/...#kingdomrunnners #runpraybelieve #finishyourrace #kingdomliving #kingdomlife #intentional #verses #bibleverse #bible #verse #bibleverses #WordOfGod #HisWord #verseoftheweek #HisWord #PleaseGod ... If my heart is right with God, every human being is my neighbour. ~Oswald ChambersJesus said, “If you love me, feed my sheep”. I believe that what He was really referring to was the crux of the second greatest commandment, which is to love our neighbours. If we truly love God, then we need to love people. That simply means every single human being on earth deserves to be loved by God and by you and I. Every one is a precious soul saved by the blood of Jesus. The value of a soul is what constitutes the definition of a neighbour. You cannot love God and hate humanity. That is an oxymoron. Both are synonymous. For God so loved all He created in His image that He sacrificed His only begotten Son for the sins of humanity. Knowing so, you cannot love God and gossip about others, backstab others, be untruthful to others, put down others, bully others and the list goes on. Loving our neighbour is all about a right heart!#kingdomrunnners #faithandfitness #runningquotes #motivation #FinishYourRace #motivationalquotes #biblequotesdaily #inspiration #encouragement #inspirationalquotes #KingdomQuotes #loveyourneighbours ... Prayer RunningThere are many reasons why we need to pray as much as there are many ways that we can pray as well. The bottomline is that prayer needs to be part of our lives.“…here’s the thing, when God is part of your regular run, the pace is just right.”Well, if you’ve not tried combining prayer to an activity, a run/walk is a great way to start. As the writer ends it, “much prayer, much blessings”. Designed to WorshipHumanity has been created for worship, to be solely an act of worship to our King. We are made for worship. Everything we do should and must be done unto the Lord and not for men. Our audience of One, God Almighty, needs to be the focus of our lives. Then only, we are able to embrace our true purpose, and always in the posture of giving glory to Him and Him alone. How we run our races is our worship and how we finish is also our worship. A true worshipper runs his/her race in spirit and in truth. Verse of the Week:Acts 3:19Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.We all fall short of God’s glory. Its not just a fact but its the truth that we are all the descendants of the first Adam, one with a corruptible condition, sinful and literally a living time-bomb that will self-destruct in due time. The truth is true even if no one believes it, the lie is false even if everyone believes it. ~R. C. Sproul In today’s world, is there an absolute truth? Who is saying the truth and who is not? How do you know if what you read and watch on the media is what it is in reality? Are fact trackers even reliable? Who can we truly trust?Well, rightfully said, the answer is that no one knows and only God knows and He will ultimately reveal Himself, reveal Jesus and reveal all the lies and sins of this world and pour out His wrath upon the unbelievers. The bible is the only absolute truth and knowing it thoroughly will give us the knowledge and discernment to differentiate a truth and a lie, what is true and what is false. God’s word is eternal, tested, trustworthy and if anyone were to alter, manipulate, add or take away any parts of it, God will bring plagues or take away his part from the book of life (Rev 22:18-19).Remember that Satan is the father of lies and the spirit of anti-christ is to deceive the generations so that the truth is hidden away from the Jews and Gentiles. Let us meditate and embrace the word of God, so that we will not be deceived by the world.#FinishYourRace #faithandfitness #inspiration #biblequotesdaily #motivationalquotes #encouragement #inspirationalquotes #kingdomrunnners #runningquotes #KingdomQuotes #motivation #truthmatters #NothingButTheTruth#bibleistruth✝️ ... Designed to Finish the RaceLife is like a marathon, a spiritual race that has been set before us, purposefully designed so that those who have made a decision to start this race, should end it well. The key is to be intimately connected to the designer of the race route, who is also the coach that has the personalised training plan for each one in His team. God called us into this race so that we will one day be with Him eternally. God desires that we finish our races, together as a spiritual family. Jesus is waiting at the finishing line. PRAYER RUNSRun, Pray, BelieveDaryl’s Devotional:What a way to celebrate 55 years of Eagles Ministry through a collaborative effort in a 55km race. Big thank you to the support crew and all the runners 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏃🏻 who have played a part in making this yet another memorable experience. This was made possible because we did it together!Prayed for families in our nation, especially in such dark and dystopian times where there are so much attacks on this part of the society. Family units are the cornerstone of any society and to establish strong nuclear families, it will naturally establish a strong nation. I am also always reminded when I run such long races that we are not alone in this journey. It is always more enjoyable, safer, more encouraging and better to run together with others coming alongside. God has called us to run together as a body of Christ, supporting, spurring and sharpening each other, so that we can finish the race together as well. God has designed us to run together. Designed to Run TogetherYou and I were never expected or called to run this race alone! We heard of this quote ‘If you want to run fast, run alone but if you want to run far, run together’. There is something powerful about doing things together, building things together and finishing together. It is all about being in a team, similar to how Paul illustrates that a body is made up of many interdependent members and draw reference to how the body of Christ should function. “Rooted in the themes of friendship, accountability and mutual support, this analogy of iron sharpening iron clearly illustrates the fact that we are designed to run together.”Read the full article below:kingdomrunners.net/designed-to-run-together/#kingdomrunnersbloggers #kingdomblog #kingdomwriters #writetobless #writetodisciple #speaklife #discipleship #encourage #encouragement #reflections #godsdesign #runtogether #bodyofchrist #mentoring ... Christianity can be condensed into 4 words: Admit, Submit, Commit and Transmit. ~Samuel WilberforceAdmit? Submit? Commit? Transmit? What are these words about? Why do we need to do them? How do we do it? Admit is to disclose, to confess and our response to a loving Father is to acknowledge that we are sinners. We fall short of God’s glory and it is just humanly impossible to do this life without God. We are sheep that are lost and desperately in need of a shepherd, a Savior that can redeem us from our wretched state. Submit is to yield or surrender to the authority of another and as a child of God, the vital step is to submit our lives to God’s will, to His order and plans for our lives. God desires our obedience and devotion to Himself and He wants to use us, as His vessels to accomplish His purposes here on earth.Commit is to entrust, to consign for the future and for us that will never know what the future holds, the best bet is to trust in the one who holds the future! God is good, all-knowing and sovereign and He knows and always wants the best for us all. Lastly, transmit is all about spreading, passing it on, imparting and conveying something to another. We are all earthen vessels, a container filled with contents, stories and testimonies that should and must reflect the light of Christ, represent the heart of God and redirect humanity back to the creator. Our purpose in life is to carry the gospel and to share it with the world, unashamedly and unapologetically. Admit our sinful condition, Submit to Jesus’s Lordship,Commit to God’s plans & purposes,Transmit the gospel to the world. This is Christianity!#kingdomrunnners #faithandfitness #runningquotes #motivation #FinishYourRace #motivationalquotes #biblequotesdaily #inspiration #encouragement #inspirationalquotes #KingdomQuotes #christianity ...
