Designed to Forgive and ForgetAs a born again believer, we are designed to embrace forgiveness because of how much a wretched soul each of us were before Jesus came into our lives. We are living in the age of grace, and God’s forgiveness restored our relationship with Him through the death of Christ. Forgiveness is not an option for us as Christians, but an absolute necessity for us to humbly and fully represent God. ‘To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you.’ ~C.S. The great cloud of witnesses who were the forerunners of faith were all recorded in the Bible to encourage us and remind us of the necessity and possibilities of being faith warriors in our generation. Verse of the Week:1 Corinthians 7:17“Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this way let him walk. God has specially designed each of His children, in His image, and for His purpose. He is our maker, the one who created Heaven and Earth and breathed life into humanity. Psalm 139:13-15 For You formed my innermost parts; You knit me [together] in my mother's womb. I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was being formed in secret, And intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth. What are we designed to do? Food and FreedomApostle Paul says that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom and liberty (2 Cor 3:17). This truth will set us free, free to make wise and godly decisions for our bodies and for our lives. This includes the stuff that we put into our bodies on a daily basis. God gives us the freedom to choose what is right and sustainable for us to thrive and be honourable vessels for Him to use. We need to learn to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us even in our diets so that we be good stewards of our bodies. “Freedom is harder than religion because in freedom we have to learn to trust God to lead and guide us.”Read the full article below:kingdomrunners.net/food-freedom/#kingdomrunnersbloggers #kingdomblog #kingdomwriters #writetobless #writetodisciple #speaklife #discipleship #encourage #encouragement #reflections #stewardyourbody #diet #healthydiet #godlydiet #freedominchrist ...
